Cura?ao eGaming (CEG)
Online gambling has been legal in Cura?ao since 1993, with the introduction of the National Ordinance on Offshore Games of Hazard legislation, and the first license was issued by Cura?ao eGaming in 1996. As such, Cura?ao eGaming is one of the oldest regulators of its kind.
End of an era
As of October 1st 2024, the licensing authority Cura?ao eGaming (Cyberluck Cura?ao N.V.) has ceased all licensing operations. This is as a result of the recent changes and restructuring within the Cura?ao jurisdiction.
Consequently, no Cura?ao eGaming (1668/JAZ) licenses will be extended and are all to be considered expired from the date mentioned. Any casinos that operated under this license should have either applied for the new Cura?ao license directly from the Cura?ao Gaming Control Board, or obtained a license from an alternate authority.
New services
While Cura?ao eGaming no longer offers licenses to online gaming operators, the former regulator now offers Accreditation Services. These services include assistance with GCB license applications, business structuring, and forms and documentation updates. Operators that become accredited can display a new Accreditation Seal demonstrating their dedication to compliance and best practices.

Disputes and Responsible Gambling
Players can submit complaints via a link in the the accreditation validator, with CEG acting as a free Alternate Dispute Resolution service for players at those casinos with the endorsement. It is also possible to request Self-Exclusion via a form in the validator, but the exclusion will only apply to that specific website.
