To the bank?

I said I didn't authorize the payments to TRVRS merchant and that I deposited on a different site.

I have told them I authorised the payments but not to the merchant.

That’s why they have declined it. They will be able to see with the IP address etc that it was you who made the transactions you need to do it as goods not received and then explain incorrect MCC from the company etc with proof in emails you have contacted them. They will class that as a fraudulent claim so I would be careful

lol, I got a refund from Ninewin in full. I don't understand why they refunded only 50%

Has anyone ever got a Santeda refund other than the NDA person for £500?

I haven't yet. They claim they have sent the money. But I've received nothing. They has also rejected me asking for a TRN to prove payment.

I haven't received a penny off them

if it's revlout

then don't wait

it happened before

revlout will reject the payment and will send it back because of safety reasons

if Lloyd's

you will receive as a remittance statement. lloyds does all slow receiving such payments while revlout doesn't

I am with Monzo

Will that have an effect?

JosieRosie46

Well I reckon if I change it now they'll just tell me where to go??

I have raised a dispute explaining that I cannot get InTouch with the merchant to get a refund an that they have more chance than me as a chargeback.

I'm with Monzo bank account.

I will have to wait for my dispute to be replied to first befor I can do that

Monzo will more than likely close your account down, they are notorious for doing it when it’s gambling transactions. It’s awful ??

JosieRosie46

This is not what I wanted to here.

As luck wi probably have it. They'll close my account down an the 12k will get sent to monzo.

FFS. Gutted if they close my account

I hope they don’t! Just seeing how others have had theirs closed pretty quickly after raising the disputes it is likely. Keep us updated

don't

if you awaiting a refund into Monzo

i advice you to reach to Monzo to cancel the chargeback

otherwise they will close your account

it happened with me

i raised a chargeback

tomorrow I found my account closed, no one would like to bank with them either

They have to give you notice to get your affairs in order. BOS have given me 2 months notice, although I can't use the accounts I can still go in to the bank and move money around or pay things it just has to be done by them as they remove the block then put it back on as soon as you've done what you need to do.

I can't speak for online banks, I'm with starling but being very careful now as all my big transactions are through that account and don't want it getting closed incase of refunds. So be very careful if you are raising small disputes but have bigger ones, contact merchants and casinos and keep your presence known.

I have emailed Monzo an asked if my account is likely to get closed because I've raised disputes.

Explaining that I've been a victim of fraud, not a perpetrator.

He responded with if they do close my account then they have be me time to get stuff sorted an I'll get notice.

I do have an account open with zopa. So I'll slowly start moving things across if it comes to that.

I can't believe I'm even in this position..All I want is the £12,000 I'm owed. An now I'm potentially getting my account closed.

An no refund from bank an no money from jackpot raider.

Brilliant.

My birthday tomorrow aswell an I've got this headache. I cannot stop thinking about it.

They've declined my charge back.

I had raised a complaint an dispute straight away.

Maybe that wasn't a smart move?

Monzo have said if they close my account I'll be made aware before hand.

What a nightmare

JosieRosie46

I'll know in the next few days I guess.

They'll probably close it. I don't think any banks like having gamblers as customers..it's unreliable/ unpredictable money In accounts for them

So they probably think good riddance to bad news

Trust me I know!!

My starling account if I were to get refunds I'd get about 19k back which would be life-changing, I've stopped all online gambling for a few Months now, and feel free just wish I could get my stupid 8 month bender back!!

Yeah it’s not ideal at all - hopefully they don’t but if you gamble and then start raising disputes / complaints you will likely be given 60days notice to move to another bank BUT you won’t have access to it. Make sure you don’t have a balance on your Monzo as they are an absolute nightmare to get it from. My sister had this issue (not related to gambling) I think it’s taken her about 8months to get her funds back with them not having branches etc
