I thought some people might find this interesting it is directly from the Visa Merchant Data Standards Manual:

A payment facilitator transaction that contains the Payment Facilitator and

sponsored Merchant identifiers may populate the Merchant name field with

either the sponsored Merchant name (alone), or a combination of both the

sponsored Merchant and Payment Facilitator name, using (i) the name of the

Payment Facilitator (or an abbreviation), (ii) followed by an asterisk (*), and

(iii) the sponsored Merchant name (e.g., Payment facilitator name*Sponsored

Merchant name). It should choose the name that is the more recognizable to

the cardholder.

Required

If a Cardholder accesses the website and/or application of a high integrity risk

Merchant or a high integrity risk sponsored Merchant and is then linked or

forwarded to the website and/or application of a high-risk internet Payment

Facilitator for payment, the name of the high-risk internet Payment Facilitator

must appear in the Merchant name field in conjunction with the name of the

high integrity risk sponsored Merchant.

Acquirers must prohibit agents from utilizing dynamic Merchant descriptors for

Gambling Merchants.

I raised a dispute with NatWest for no goods received against TERRVERS and stated that I received nothing from them, no email confirmation of any orders, no receipts and no goods. They accepted the dispute and emailed stating that they were going to temporarily refund the amounts whilst they investigate further. It’s been two days since receiving that email so I went to NatWest online chat and asked when I would likely see the temporary refunds credit my account and the customer service advisor then told me they have closed the case and I should have received an email with confirmation of the closure. I’m yet to receive any such email. Is it possible the case has been closed in my favour after only a few days? Or more likely that they’ve closed it against me?

I'm still shocked and confused by the ammount of people who have had successfully charged back or had merchant refunds. My bank declined all charge backs and merchants don't seem to respond. Is it just pot luck or am I doing something wrong?

Was it Mastercard or visa?

Did you report wrong MCC or goods/service not received?

I would say it's luck I've done everything most others did who had successful chargebacks and I didn't. It's definitely who you get to deal with the claim in my mind.

I am checking out of here now as well. Need a clean slate! Thanks for all the help and I have tried to help and share as much information as I can. Wish you all well and hope we can all recover from this horrendous addiction field by these predatory and criminal operators! One last request how on earth do you close a Casinoguru account as I cannot see an obvious option anywhere???♀?

Hello, Lottie48!

Since it is not something a user can do on their own, I will do it for you.

Please let me know if you are certain you want your Casino Guru account closed and lost. I'll be checking this thread more often to catch up with you.

Has anyone had experience with the following

cnpcto

How would I track this merchant down

I would ring their disputes team to get further information from them. How much was it for if you don’t mind me asking? I’m struggling with getting them to raise that same dispute for me

Me. Iv been emailing their owner for months. It’s Coinpacto.io polish crypto company. You try and sign up to their profile and it doesn’t even let you purchase anything. Iv reported them to the tax exchange in Poland who say it’s nothing to do with them.

Yep. It’s odd though as I have a full company report showing me the owners phone number and address in a different country. He owns another business in Estonia. Iv called, texted, emailed and used the contact us forms on both websites. I haven’t even had a ‘thank you for your email’ automated message. Complete radio silence

Hello,

I have just found your post via a Google search.

I'm also having issue with Bulletskin (Mine has an "s" in the name but I presume it's the same). Can you tell me how you got them to refund you please & which site it's from?

I have a few for the same value on 3 different sites, not much as there are only a handful of £100 deposits but this Bulletskin one i'm stuck with.

Crypto sites are all over sport advertising in the UK and nothing is done about it. EPL teams are sponsored by Bc.Game, Stake, Gamdom, 500 etc and various others who don't hold UK licences. Problem, as I said yesterday, is that crypto itself is pretty anonymous and it's a problem for the UKGC and others.

very interesting breakthrough here, I’m not going to reveal any major details as I don’t want to comprise my position.

however, I have had numerous charges with merchants from a specific continent that I couldn’t seem to get anywhere with. I sent a last ditch attempt of a threat before I charged back.

within a few minutes they replied, however the response was not from the merchant (even though I sent it to them). The response appears to be from a payment processor that is specific in that continent.

I have a strong feeling that this specific payment processor manages finances for these merchants and could be willingly to refund me on them to avoid chargebacks.

could be far fetched but I could be onto something here. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I've just had a recover your password email that I didn't do has anyone else had this happen?

Total spread over several transactions is £1100. I’ve now had confirmation that they’ve applied the refund so just waiting for it to show on my account. None the wiser on if the case has actually been closed or not yet though
