The award-winning betting content and data provider, BETER, obtained a prestigious certification.
The company was recently awarded the coveted Gold Standard Accreditation from the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).
The globally recognizable accreditation highlights BETER's dedication to esports integrity and upholding the highest standards for betting-related esports products.
In a statement, ESIC explained that the Gold Standard Accreditation is only awarded to esports providers and companies that demonstrate "advanced operational protocols, thorough oversight mechanisms, and consistent ethical standards."
BETER's certification follows a comprehensive on-site audit.
The probe analyzed the company's fast-betting esports and sports operations, focusing on aspects such as officiating, player welfare, physical security and compliance training.
The scrutiny also covered areas such as transparency reporting, data integrity and physical security, acknowledging BETER's solid efforts to uphold the integrity of its operations.
Andrii Nekrutov, BETER's Chief Integrity Officer, was excited about the latest accreditation, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"This is a major milestone for both our Integrity team and the entire BETER organization. It reflects the strict measures and unwavering commitment to fair play that we uphold in all ESportsBattle tournaments," the executive explained.
Finally, Nekrutov pointed out: "This Gold Standard accreditation further strengthens our mission to eradicate match-fixing and promote transparency and fairness in esports and beyond."
Only recently, BETER expanded its sports portfolio with the addition of cricket leagues and tournaments from across the globe.
As a result, the company is now covering more than 2,400 matches from the United States, Australia, India and more than 30 other countries.
It was back in 2022 when ESIC introduced the Gold Standard Accreditation, seeking to ensure the highest standard for content providers and tournament organizers whose products participate in real-time wagering.
Since then, a small number of organizations across the globe have been able to achieve the prestigious certification.
Thanks to its relentless efforts, BETER is now joining this elite group.
Stephen Hanna, ESIC's Chief Executive Officer, said on the matter: "The Gold Standard exists to protect competitive integrity across the global esports ecosystem. Each time an operator meets its requirements, the bar for everyone else rises."
Finally, Hanna pointed out: "BETER’s successful audit proves that best-in-class safeguards against match-fixing and corruption are not aspirational—they’re achievable, and they are now the expectation."
The prestigious Gold Standard Accreditation comes after BETER joined ESIC earlier this year in a move that reaffirmed its dedication to esports integrity.
