A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

If the payments are after the 7th of October just tell the bank you have been tricked into sending someone money and it ended up been a scam and you have lost access to the money , they should refund you within 5 days , if they refuse remind them of the new rules that were put in place on the 7th . Have a read up on Google about the new rules first to familiarise yourself .

But I already tried and explained about the casino denying withdrawal and closing my account and they said there was nothing they could do? So I made a complaint. What should I do?

I think the main point for all to consider is VISA incorrect MCC and Mastercard go goods not received don’t mention gambling.

The world definitely works in myserious ways... After coming back on here, I have just been refunded some of the payments from 'CRPW' by Santander. Still 2 more from them that haven't been but we will see. Also none of the other merchants have been refunded as of yet, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction!

I'm going to call them after work and ask what is happening with the rest so I will let you know.

The banks should refund upfront as per the guidance VISA and Mastercard have on their terms, so frustrating that some do and some don’t. Everyone’s situation is different but we are all addicted and should have instant access to our funds regardless of whether or not we need them

I agree. To be honest after reading through this forum for months on end, it definitely seems as though things are getting easier for people to get this fixed with their banks as time has gone on. Strength in numbers as they say!

For me personally, if I lost the funds it wouldn't be the end of the world, but now I know that it is definitely worth a shot and I encourage people not to give up easily.

I've got £700 back currently, £3100 to go

You cannot ever mention the transactions are for gambling because as soon as you do the bank won’t touch them , especially Mastercard . Think it has been mentioned earlier in this thread to always avoid saying they have any thing to do with gambling. Unfortunately if you have already told them this there’s nothing you can do .

What are people saying they've purchased for Mastercard chargebacks? And what if you don't have a receipt?

Find the website of the merchant you sent the transactions to then have a look to see what they are selling on their website , say to the bank you purchased whatever is on there site and you did not receive them . For instance online digital art or NFTs , say the merchant did not supply you with receipts , make sure to email the merchant first as you will need to show this to your bank .

you are telling the truth as you did not receive any thing from that merchant .

But you can't chargeback purchases relating to investments or crypto with Mastercard, well not here in uk AFAIK.

If anyone can email some SUCCESSFUL advice on how raise successfull disputes with

  • FOMILINE UAB
  • SMLSAVEOPERATIONS
  • FALCORA FINANCE
  • PAYOP

Please let me know. My email is [email protected] I'm losing my mind over this now. I'm astonished that the banks are doing complete jack and allowing this to happen. My FOS investigator's declined my case with Monzo and Falcora/PayOP too. I've had enough of everything now. What an absolute load of trash that this is allowed to happen and nothing is being done about it. I have zero idea as to what to do. No one is helping me.

Not having a receipt works in your favour, Chase asked where my invoice was I said it let me pay but nothing came through either order numbers or invoices hence them not sending anything.

Just make something up that you were buying , you just need to convince them to chargeback for goods/services not received, I managed to get my raised saying I was buying online digital art . If you have all ready told them it’s for gambling then there’s nothing you can do unfortunately.
