A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

If they don't respond within the time frame which the bank has given them which you posted 45 days it usually means you have won ,they have until 11.59pm to respond on the 45th day, also if it falls on weekend you won't hear anything until the Monday. Some merchants respond right at last minute .If the merchant isn't disputing they usually inform bank and bank contacts you before waiting period is over .or merchants will ignore dispute request and you just have to wait for the 45th day to pass .

From actual merchants or casino ?

Certainly casinos - they must be slowly realising they are screwed. They all offer crypto payments so not sure why they are still going ahead with debit and credit cards.

OK...I have been reading for a good week or so and have some hope with getting refunds....not sure if I can mention the casino in question, but it's Magius (registered in Cyprus)

I've been done by a number of Merchants through aforementioned casino...

But Monzo won't close your account if you owe them money, either a hefty overdraft facility or their Flex account thing. Perhaps that helps some people?

I've written 4 emails now to Webmosac, they are just ignoring them.

I'll try once more before going to bank and reporting them to Financial Ombudsman and whoever else needs to know. Their registered address is 50 Essex Street, London, England, WC2R 3JF - it that actually helps with anything.

How much (roughly) are you after getting back from them? Mine is 4-figures. You'll have to stay in touch to let me know how yours is going with them. I read someone else got a full refund from them recently.
