A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Ok, I have no experience with Revolut but know they are a pain. Don’t take my advice check with others but I think it’s extremely hard to go any route other than goods not received.

Likely as well the old ones may not be able to chargeback due to time limits

What do you need?

No, barclays

I'm with Revolut.

Mobilumpay is the payment processor for Monramp / Atlamp / Faramp / Fatamp. They won't refund you directly, so you have to go with you bank. The problem is Mobilumpay marked these transactions as <Money Transfer> so my bank refused to raise the chargeback.

I agree with you, I have only tried twice in the past to take a different route regarding goods or services not received, never went well. It is the best route to take in almost all cases

I really think next year or so there is going to be something major about this and the banks/visa/mastercard are going to be fined or similar.

100% mate. From what I've witnessed during these disputes regarding monzo mastercard and the merchants raises so many questions. Their actions speak volumes. Im fighting it until the very end because it's disgusting what I've had to experience so far. I've documented everything with evidence.

You can only dispute chargeback claims if they are within 120 days of the transaction date. If your saying over 2 years then there might be an issue there raising with bank.

My outcome so far:

Started the chargebacks January 2025

Spent ~£50K

Recovered ~£2.5K

You guys are so lucky.

Hi could you talk me through what you said to get them raised as I've got some with onlinedg too with Monzo and they are not good at raise disputes with limited information. They want to know what I've bought and diamond diggers is online server so what would cost over a thousand how can I explain it? Thanks

What did you chargeback for ?

I was speaking to Barclays today and the person on the phone was saying that they are seeing lots now for the illegal gambling so it will be coming soon enough.

The Mastercard ones seem the worst, but some individual banks like Monzo and Revolut are terrible. Thing is we should be able to say the actual problem yet some banks and even FOS are just ignoring that so goods is only route.

All mine have deadlines of Mid July after that I am definitely going to look further into what can be done to raise this issue wider as it needs to stop

It’s so unfair, I agree mate.

It really is dependent on the bank - you are Chase for some ain’t you? I find them hit and miss, some go through quickly others they delay, onto my 3rd CEO complaint with them currently.

Most of them are Revolut.

The others are with Chase, Wise.

Same here. Mobilum told me to contact the merchant, but in my case there's no info about Monramp. They are ignoring my emails.

I've reported them and i'm in contact with Polish Financial Supervision Authority

Totally agree. The merchants that do challenge disputes with fabricated receipts are only opening up a can of worms and forcing themselves into a corner. If a dispute does eventually prove unsuccessful due to fake receipts being submitted by the merchant and you have records of your casino deposits.. well youve got them by the balls. you can use that ammo as a last ditch effort to take them to the cleaners and reveal all their fraudulent behavior.
