A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I’ve just noticed that the payment gateway for Goldenbet is Facilero. I’ve sent them an email outlining the transaction laundering they are complicit in and requested a refund.

IIRC, some people earlier in the thread have had luck in getting refunds from the payment providers so just thought I’d mention it here.

Did you also get a country where ZPDG is based? As my bank only shows ZPDG without any explanation. Have to contact them and ask for more details but that can take a few days.

ZPDG Seems to be very hard to find I haven’t found it

I am aware of that but if I can get some country it may help me to find it or make the search at least a bit easier.

Hi!

Thanks for posting. I have a question. My credit card has gone forward with chargebacks under "fraud".

Is there other ways/departments they would process a chargeback under?

Did any other merchant come forward? Did any dispute your chargebacks?

I have emailed all of them, most didn't reply.. and also few refunded on their own. ..

Not sure of the Canadian rules, but according to the Financial Ombudsman in the UK they won't side with the person if they knowingly attempted transactions and didn't have a gambling block in place. Mastercard have different fraud types and in my case Revolut attempted to one of these which was automatically declined because I made the transactions. This sparked chaos for weeks on end and a FOS case was raised. Fortunately I had numerous emails showing pursuit of merchants, comms with the site which was never answered including 25 Live Chat copies. The Goods and Services chargebacks are not guaranteed to work - merchants may dispute them and I hope Quickbit do tbh. They are the only merchant who actually wrote back to me and lied - they said the transaction was nothing to do with them and I didn't have an account with them.

Yep, emailing the individual merchants should be the very first thing to do BEFORE making any claims to your bank.

A case I’m aware of atm, FOS sided with the bank despite gambling block in place so still seems like inconsistent rulings across the board and the reality is it comes down to a bit of luck. It’s clear something needs to change but outside of this forum it’s hard to know what the magnitude of the issue is. 10-15 cases to the FOS is probably not going to move the dial

That’s a bit extreme from them, glad you got it sorted. This was always my concern doing goods not received how far does the bank push back onto us. VISA when doing the incorrect MCC was fine, knowing Mastercard don’t I have done the last ones through goods not received so will see what happens. Ideally no police interview…

What exactly did u say to them

I’m in a tussle currently with a casino called 7gold casino, who is Apprently regulated by a company in the uk?? but has no uk license. They have said that they will report me for fraud if I process chargeback. Looks like I’ll be reporting the "uk business" to the ukgc and fca

The UKGC needs to do something about this, all my first lot of merchants were Estonia, Nigeria and Switzerland so appreciate little jurisdiction, however finnart is allegedly UK based. So you would think they can go after them.

Also cheers for the heads up, I had already kept emails but just reported these two crypto companies to the FCA to cover myself.

I have the same concern regarding the goods not received route. Great news that VISA processed the chargeback based on incorrect MCC without any issues, was this because you had blocks on your account which this circumvented or just for violations of their ToS?

Could I ask what did you write to them as I also need to write to VISA ??

Barclaycard so a credit card where gambling is blocked, it’s written somewhere in this forum will have to see if I have it saved basically says transaction laundering to bypass the blocks. They didn’t do it straight away but did after a complaint, from what I gather Mastercard won’t do this as it’s classed as fraud and their terms state if you made the purchase then they won’t chargeback.
