  • Ocean Casino Resort and STARR Restaurants joined forces for two new STARR Restaurant concepts
  • The Boardwalk hotel and casino resort will bring Sunny's and Chez Frites
  • The American breakfast and lunch bistro and the new French dinner spot will start accepting reservations in August

The go-to hotel and casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Ocean Casino Resort, announced it expanded its amenities under the terms of a new collaboration with STARR Restaurants and Stephen Starr, the award-winning restaurateur.

Sunny's and Chez Frites expand Ocean Casino Resort's dining options

Under the terms of the new collaboration, customers of the Boardwalk casino resort will be able to experience a new American breakfast and lunch bistro called Sunny's, as well as a French dinner spot, Chez Frites.

The two new restaurant concepts complement Ocean Casino Resort's offering, bringing even more fine dining experiences.

A statement released by the popular hotel and casino in Atlantic City confirms that Sunny's and Chez Frites will start accepting reservations from August 1, 2025.

Late last year, Ocean Casino Resort helped spread joy thanks to a range of holiday donations and different initiatives.

The efforts were part of the hotel and casino's Season of Giving initiative, which benefits local charities and organizations that tackle issues such as homelessness and provide support and education to those who need it.

The two new restaurants promise exceptional experiences and unique menus

Ocean Casino Resort visitors will be able to find Sunny's eleven stories above the Atlantic Ocean, offering stunning sun-drenched views.

The new American breakfast and lunch bistro will offer a robust menu that delivers bold twists of popular classic dishes and beloved American cuisine specials.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a serene ambience thanks to both table and bar seating.

Recognizable dishes such as lobster roll, classic meatloaf and Nutella French toast, among others, promise to delight each visitor's taste buds.

On the other hand, Chez Frites is located on Ocean Casino Resort's Lobby Level near The Park.

The French dinner spot will offer seats for up to 150 guests, while a unique prix fixe menu will offer steak, lobster or salmon, along with a salad and golden fries.

"Chez Frites is the perfect haven for foodies seeking refined yet approachable cuisine," Ocean Casino Resort explained about the new restaurant concept.

Stephen Starr, STARR Restaurants' Founder and CEO, commented: "American and French cuisines have always been two of my favorites, each offering its own unique sense of comfort, tradition and indulgence."

Finally, Starr said: "Helping to shape these experiences with Chez Frites and Sunny's in Atlantic City is especially exciting, and I can't wait for guests to experience them at Ocean Casino Resort this summer."

Located on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, Ocean Casino Resort takes up more than 20 acres.

The go-to hotel and casino has been recognized with a range of prizes, including "Best Casino" by Philadelphia Magazine's "Best of Philly" awards.

Visitors to Ocean Casino Resort can enjoy more than 1,750 slot machines and 125 gaming tables.

The venue offers nearly 1,900 hotel rooms, as well as a range of other amenities, including luxury restaurants, a spa and different nightlife experiences.
