Mohegan Sun, one of the largest and most spectacular gaming, dining, entertainment and shopping venues owned by Mohegan, continues to expand its offering.
On Monday this week, the premier go-to gaming and entertainment destination in Connecticut announced it had introduced four new dining outlets.
As a result, Mohegan Sun guests can now enjoy fine dining experiences at The Shed Restaurant, SIFT Bake Shop & A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons, Beauty & Essex and The Farm Italy.
Each of the aforementioned new dining venues was developed in collaboration with globally recognizable chefs and hospitality experts.
At the core of each dining outlet is the goal to deliver an exceptional foodie-centric experience, while the atmosphere and menus were developed with the modern traveler in mind.
At The Shed Restaurant, SIFT Bake Shop & A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons, Beauty & Essex and The Farm Italy, each guest can enjoy unique dishes with some providing a modern twist on classic recipes.
Spanning 185 acres along the Thames River in Southeastern Connecticut, Mohegan Sun offers a range of amenities, including two luxury casinos and 1,600 hotel rooms.
The venue is also home to two convention centers, a golf course, dozens of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as an arena with 10,000 seats.
Undoubtedly, the addition of four exquisite new dining venues will further increase the wide variety of outlets available at Mohegan Sun.
The Shed offers a unique concept that successfully fuses a casual and refined eatery.
The venue is led by Chef Roberto Baez and it offers a beach-inspired setting and a fresh menu.
On the other hand, the SIFT Bake Shop & A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons outlet brings Chef Adam Young's popular bakery, SIFT, to Mohegan Sun.
The new dining outlet was developed with Chef Young, who is a James Beard semifinalist, together with his wife and co-owner, Ebbie Young, and offers "a little delight to everyone."
Visitors of Beauty & Essex can expect an exceptional culinary experience at a multi-room venue where vintage guitars can be seen, and Japanese whisky is served.
The dining outlet features globally inspired dishes with a twist, and it is tucked away behind a working pawn shop.
Last but not least, The Farm Italy is helmed by John Tunney and recognizes the rich heritage of Italian cuisine.
A colonnaded dining room along with a marble-clad bar, unique lighting, an impressive menu and cocktails promise a unique experience.
Jeff Hamilton, Mohegan Sun's President and General Manager, said about the new dining outlets: "These openings reflect the depth, creativity and ambition we're bringing to our culinary strategy."
Finally, the executive pointed out: "From a speakeasy-style supper club to a bakery from a James Beard semifinalist, these concepts have added renewed energy to our destination and are giving guests even more reasons to choose Mohegan Sun."
Guests at Mohegan Sun can now make reservations at the four new dining venues online.
