Playtech has expanded in the North American market, with the acclaimed company and supplier of groundbreaking and cutting-edge iGaming products bringing its RNG, Live, and Casino content to local operators in West Virginia.
The state is effectively the fourth market in the United States where Playtech has received a nod from regulators to bring its player-favorite games, and the company has lost no time, teaming up with prominent operators such as Delaware North, Rush Street Interactive, DraftKings, and BetMGM, which have joined the supplier’s local expansion, offering real money gameplay.
Playtech VP US Business Operations Jonathan Doubilet welcomed the opportunity to see his company push further ahead in the market and deliver its signature innovative, engaging, and responsible titles to players.
On top of that, Doubilet highlighted Playtech’s lasting commitment to offering cutting-edge gaming tech to partner operators in a bid to support trusted partners.
"Supporting our customers across all regulated states and countries in which they operate is at the heart of what we do. The trust and confidence they place in us as an agile and scalable partner is what helps in meeting the demands of the ever-expanding US iGaming industry," the executive said in a press statement.
Playtech has recently shifted to a B2B focus, shedding its B2C assets, as the company has decided to streamline its internal processes and capitalize on its strengths instead. In May, the company sold off its Happybet brand in Germany.
Playtech also gained further ground in the European iGaming market by teaming up with Veikkaus, the state gambling monopoly in Finland.
