SBC Summit 2025 welcome
  • SBC Summit 2025 is adding a Latin America & Brazil Track to complement its expanding offer
  • The decision is based on the growing attendance from the region and the hosts’ desire to stay at the forefront of industry innovation
  • Five sessions and panels will be part of the dedicated track, bringing together prominent industry stakeholders

SBC Summit 2025 has expanded its floor with the Latin America & Brazil track, which will seek to address regional challenges and help broach important topics as well as create networking opportunities for local businesses, stakeholders, and third parties looking to gain a foothold in the dynamic region.

The track will be part of the Global Markets stage, with the entire event bringing together 30,000 attendees in what is one of the industry’s pinnacle get-togethers. SBC Events has said that the inclusion of the Latin America & Brazil Track was a natural development, given the 126% surge in Latin American attendance in 2024, which called for the creation of a specialized space.

The event, which is due to take place at the Feira Internacional deLisboa in Lisbon, Portugal, on Tuesday, September 16, will see the track focus on five expert-led sessions which will explore the region’s most pressing issues. These sessions are as follows:

  • LATAM Leaders: LatinAmericaFirst - the Home-grown Operators Reinventing the Game
  • The Brazil Leaders Panel: The Bubble That Just Won't Burst – Looking Back at the Launch of Sports Betting
  • Peru and the Impact of ISC: All Eyes on the Andes
  • Reaching Market Maturity, or More to Go?
  • Casino in Latin America: from Land-Based to Mobile

Attendees will have the opportunity to gain unique insight into regional markets, such as Peru, Mexico, Brazil, and Latin America as a whole, as well as lay the groundwork for strategic partnerships, engage in culturally-relevant marketing, and garner a stronger, clearer understanding of the existing mesh of regulatory frameworks and rules.

Commenting on this opportunity, SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to say:

"LatinAmericarepresents not just one of the most dynamic regions in global gaming, but also one of the most nuanced. Our programme gets to the heart of the challenges businesses face inLatinAmericaandBrazil, whether it’s navigating local rules, understanding cultural differences, or keeping pace with shifting tax policies and digital trends. If you want to grow in this region, these sessions offer insights you can’t miss."

There will also be an Emerging Markets stage that will complement the track and focus on key regions such as Africa, Eurasia, and the Middle East, as well as Asia, demonstrating SBC’s unwavering commitment to creating an ecosystem that is capable of addressing all emerging trends in the industry while staying at the cutting edge.
