I signed up to AngliaBet, and made a number of deposits via card payment. I always refused bonuses, as I am not a fan of wagering requirements, and so all deposits were purely my own money. When I made smaller withdrawals, these were processed, however the issue came when I tried to withdraw an amount of £3000, which was made up of separate withdrawals of £2300 and £700.
After 24 hours had passed and there was no update on my withdrawals, I kept following up through the chat, and was told that all withdrawals are always approved and that the reason for the delay was because the finance team had a busy workload, and was told that the withdrawal would be processed very shortly and hopefully by the end of the night.
The next morning, the withdrawals had still not been processed, and so I reached out, and was told that the withdrawal of £700 had been processed, and I shortly did receive this, however the withdrawal of £2300 still had not been processed. At the same time, my bank (Starling) had also queried the payments I had made online, and I had explained to them that it was for online gambling. My bank asked if I could send any evidence/receipts for these payments, and so I also mentioned this in the live chat, and the advisor said they would ask someone. I suggested that I could send my bank screenshots of the transactions page on Angliabet, which showed the deposit amounts and matched the payment amounts on my bank statement, but that the issue was that the payments were going out to a company called "ThemeWhirl", and so the name did not match. Upon mentioning this in the live chat, the chat was immediately closed and my account was blocked.
Given the timing, I believe that my account was blocked so that I could not access my transactions on AngliaBet to evidence the deposits, but I had already taken the screenshots before mentioning it to the chat advisor. I then reopened a new live chat (as anyone can do this without having an account), and explained that I had already taken the screenshots of my deposits, and requesting my withdrawal of £2300 to be made, and sent a number of follow up messages, but my messages were "Read" and ignored. There was no issue with the live chat, as the advisor was online, and replied to another new chat from a friend I asked to message.
The fact that AngliaBet has blocked my account and kept my £2300, and is not replying to any of my messages, clearly demonstrates that this is a scam casino, and has no intention of returning my money. All of my money was earned from slots, not subject to any wagering requirements, and I did not use the sports betting side of the casino.
My only intention is for my money to be returned, therefore please kindly reach out to this company and help me. This situation has been very distressful, and there is no valid reason for them to act the way they have unless they are a complete scam. The money does not even amount to much profit, as my deposits and returns are nearly the same, so the withdrawal is not even a loss to them, so they have no reason to be unable to return this.
