I also thought. With slots from pragmatic which have quite high RTP you can get a bonus where you get 2€ even if you pay 500€ for example. And then you can hit a win where you buy a bonus for 100€ and hit 3000€. Well, I guess you have been playing with a bonus with several restrictions attached to it. Max bet limit is a very common practice, and sadly, many casinos are not able to enforce this basic rule of software level. Which may end up as you just described....
