Bet365 has an important piece of news to share. The company has now officially launched its betting and gaming operations in the Serbian market, marking an important expansion in Eastern Europe.
Bet365 is already present in the Balkans through a Bulgarian license, and it is now expanding further. The official launch of the dot rs website actually happened last week, but the company only shared the news in an official email press release on Monday.
Commenting on this seminal moment, a bet365 spokesperson had this to say:
"We are delighted to launch a dedicated Bet365 website in Serbia, a country renowned for its sporting heroes and passionate fans. As well as our unrivalled sports betting experience, our customers in Serbia can now enjoy a comprehensive range of offerings, including slot games, live games, e-sports and virtual betting."
Bet365 is bringing its complete sports suite, offering local players an unprecedented variety with more than 96 sports accessible directly from the platform and 1,000,000 live streams, the operator said in the statement.
Bet365, the company explained, remains fully committed to upholding an uncompromising stance on responsible gambling and will move forward with this in Serbia as well, providing players with a strong variety of options when looking to put specific restrictions on their spending.
Bet365 has not reported too many market entries over the past months, and Serbia was a long-overdue move considering that giants such as Flutter Entertainment have long been present in the attractive and lucrative sports betting market in the country.
However, bet365 focused no small part of its attention on the Latin American sports betting and gaming market with entries into Brazil and Peru instead. Serbia is only part of bet365’s global expansion strategy.
