Very intriguing, but let me warn you that there could be a wide range of triggers for this. My initial thought was that the player had displayed certain indicators that he should not be allowed to continue playing. makes large deposits, loses, or something similar.
Given that the casino holds an Ontario license, this is most likely the result of its proactive nature. Many people play while experiencing strong emotions, etc., which is not entirely safe because the player may not be able to control himself as much as he should, and it would be best if he did not play.
It could have originated from the regulator as well. I do not think they would add it on their own, so the effectiveness of this "measure" is minimal since you just have to say "yes" and move on.
