The market-leading Remote Gaming Server (RGS) software and technology supplier, powering the global gambling industry, Black Cow Technology, announced a new senior-level appointment.
On Tuesday, the company confirmed it hired the gaming industry veteran, Ernie Lafky.
Joining Black Cow Technology, the executive, who has more than 20 years of experience, will serve as the company's new Chief Product Officer.
In that role, Lafky will oversee Black Cow's transition to a gaming content provider.
As Chief Product Officer, one major focus will be the expansion of the company's Multiplayer solution.
Recognized as the "first truly transactional Multiplayer RGS," Black Cow's solution permits multiplayer gameplay "across any game format and facilitate any kind of interaction between players," as described in a statement.
As a result, players can enjoy the feature from slots and table games to other popular genres, like live dealer, bingo, crash, plinko and other games.
Tony Plaskow, Black Cow's Commercial Director, shared his excitement and said: "I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Ernie to the Black Cow team as we look to establish ourselves as a leader in the multiplayer space."
Finally, he pointed out: "Our Multiplayer RGS is unrivalled in its flexibility, capability and power, and we look forward to supporting operators and suppliers as they further explore the vertical."
The company's new Chief Product Officer was similarly excited and acknowledged that joining the C-suite at Black Cow is "a dream come true."
Lafky explained that in his role at the company, he will leverage his extensive experience in social casino and iGaming, accumulated over the last 20 years.
Moreover, he added: "I have wanted to create online multiplayer slot games. And now Black Cow and its talented engineering team have invited me to bring this new vertical to market."
Finally, Lafky said: "Multiplayer games will bring a new level of engagement and entertainment to our players, and Black Cow provides the technology needed to deliver this at scale."
Max Francis, Black Cow's Founder and CEO, praised Lafky's solid experience, recognizing that he is the perfect fit for this strategic role.

Overall, Lafky has more than two decades of experience in the gaming sector and he was employed by globally recognizable companies.
Before joining Black Cow, Lafky held the role of Senior Director at IGT's PlayDigital Game Studios.
In that role, he was in charge of overseeing teams in four countries and played a major role in the development of online slot games for IGT PlayDigital.
Throughout his career, he held other important roles, including positions at PlayStudios and GSN.
