The much-anticipated Gaming in Holland Conference due to take place on June 5, 2025, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has added more speakers to its agenda, fleshing out the event a step further and offering potential attendees the opportunity to get an idea of the value they could experience on-site, and the full agenda available here.

Among the new additions to the speaker lineup are Bj?rn Fuchs, the chair of VNLOK, and Henry Meijdam, who is at the helm of the VAN Kansspelen trade association. They are joining an already impressive selection of speakers, including:

  • Renske Fikkers, Head of Market Supervision at the Netherlands Gambling Authority
  • Henk Willem Smits, investigative reporter at Follow the Money

Apart from the additions of Fuchs and Meijdam, Gaming in Holland is expanding a notch further with the confirmation of Peter Paul de Goeij, the former NOGA Chair, who will weigh in on the current state of Dutch gambling regulation and offer his honest opinion where the industry is today and where it should get – regulation being a huge part of this transformation.

Not least, there is Rohan Tare, Head of IT Customer Interaction at ABN AMRO who will talk about the threat of AI-supported identity threat, which is a particularly pressing issue for the business.

Willem van Oort, Founder of Gaming in Holland, commented:

"We are extremely pleased with our current speaker lineup. All key stakeholders and decision makers in the Dutch gambling industry will be represented at our event. As always, the Gaming in Holland Conference will is the best place to meet the people who matter in the Dutch regulated market. Moreover, we have taken the utmost care to ensure that all relevant developments and topics will be addressed at our conference. We almost can't wait for our event to kick off!"

The Gaming in Holland Conference has been designed in a way to support networking and offers many in-between breaks and meet-ups to ensure that attendees have the opportunity to break the ice and talk in a comfortable setting.

To make things even more exciting, the Gaming in Holland Conference will have a networking drinks event at Holland Casino Amsterdam, which will take place during the award ceremony for the Dutch Online Casino of the Year Awards.

The Gaming in Holland Conference includes free admission to two certificate-granting workshops, which are generously provided by Chevron Consultants.

  • Workshop #1 is titled "Establishing a learning and training culture in your company with an LMS" and discusses the proper implementation and benefits of a Learning Management System.
  • Workshop #2 is titled "Compliance performance audits" and will teach participants how to structure audits in line with ISO 19011 and how to evaluate the performance of compliance procedures.

Both workshops will take place on June 4 – the day prior to the main event – and are free to attend for paying GiH Conference attendees.

Conference attendees are invited to join the Gaming in Holland Conference for informal drinks and traditional Dutch "bitterballen" at Café Bistro Rijnbar in Amsterdam on June 4, from 19:00 until late.
