The Gaming in Holland Conference that is due to take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, is now fast-approaching with the event seeking to address some of the most pressing challenges that the Dutch iGaming and sports betting industries face.

Among those is the fact that unlicensed operators in the country have been able to capture an estimated 50% of the gross gaming revenue that is generated online, posing a significant threat to the licensed market, which has been subjected to stringent regulations that have clipped its ability to compete with some of these operators.

The event, due to take place on Thursday, June 5, will now seek to bring clarity to these important discussions. Many of the discussions taking place next week will focus squarely on how to prevent the further expansion of black-market operations and how its current clout may be weakened.
