SBC Events continues to expand on its media portfolio, featuring world-beating industry events, competitions that nurture innovation through the First Pitch event, and so much more. Now, SBC is pivoting towards recognizing excellence by affiliate firms and gurus through the introduction of the Affiliate Leaders Awards.

SBC expands list of events with a standalone Affiliate Leaders Awards

The Affiliate Leaders Awards will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 19:00 to 24:00 at the MEO Arena, and will be a standalone ceremony that will seek to pay proper homage to the trailblazers and industry leaders in this particular vertical in the gambling industry.

The event will seek to bring together operators, affiliates, and various industry experts involved in the vertical. SBC Events is using the experience and momentum it has generated through the Affiliate Leaders Summit to further expand on its offer and cater to a unique and emerging demand for a bigger and more professional focus on affiliates in the industry.

The Affiliate Leaders Summit has already been successfully introduced as part of SBC Summit Rio and SBC Summit Americas. The introduction of the standalone Affiliate Leaders Awards has been hailed by SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark who saw in this new format the next step of SBC’s ongoing efforts to elevate and support the affiliate community.

"Over the last year, we’ve doubled down on providing dedicated spaces and meaningful content for the affiliate community. We’ve listened closely to what this community needs and the Affiliate Leaders Awards is the next phase – not just recognising their contributions, but celebrating them in the way they deserve."

SBC Events is looking to expand on the existing awards formats for affiliates. Historically, the company argued, it has featured affiliate-focused awards as part of its SBC Awards format, but this is now set to change with the introduction of a standalone Affiliate Leaders Awards, which will cover three specific groups:

• Affiliates
• Operators
• Suppliers

So far, the organizers have announced a number of categories that they intend to explore and include:

• Affiliate Network of the Year
• Affiliate Content Manager of the Year
• Affiliate Campaign of the Year
• Social Media Campaign of the Year
• Affiliate Technology of the Year

"With the launch of the Affiliate Leaders Awards, SBC adds a new layer of visibility and recognition. We want to highlight the innovation happening across the affiliate world – not just from the biggest names, but from rising stars, emerging content formats, and the tech providers enabling it all.
