SBC Summit Canada, due to take place on June 18, has released further details about the event’s Leaders Track, which will be one of the main focuses of the industry get-together under the SBC Events’ aegis.
Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the event will gather some of the gambling industry’s best and brightest, as further attested by the focus on the Leaders Track and at a time of dynamic changes in the local industry.
"Our goal with the Leaders Track is to elevate the conversations already taking place in this exciting market. By uniting policymakers, regulators, and business leaders on one stage, we’re bringing together the sharpest minds in Canadian gaming to challenge assumptions and engage in frank discussions about what’s next for Canada," said SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark in a press release shared with media partners.
The gathering will bring together a host of prominent individuals who have a direct impact on the industry, working in government, regulators, or the sector itself. Among the dignitaries are such invitees as Stan Cho, Ontario’s Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Gaming.
Doug Downey, Attorney General of Ontario, and Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario Chairman Dave Forestell will also attend and discuss the progress that Ontario has made in the past years as the province switched to a full-regulated market model.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission President Duncan Hannay.
