The leading gaming, hospitality and entertainment company, Wynn Resorts, announced the completion of the purchase of the private members-only club, Wynn Mayfair.
The company purchased the historic venue from Crown Resorts.
The finalization of the purchase comes after approval was granted by the UK gambling regulator, the Gambling Commission.
Finalizing the acquisition of Wynn Mayfair marks a milestone moment in Wynn Resorts' expansion in Europe and the Middle East.
By completing the purchase of Wynn Mayfair, the company now grows its list of properties with the addition of the historic private members-only club.
Wynn Mayfair is located at 27-28 Curzon Street, Mayfair, London and was originally known as the White Elephant Club.
The venue's rich history spans more than six decades and has attracted a range of famous guests, including Princess Margaret, Roger Moore and Shirley Bassey, among others.
Presently, the private members-only club consists of an exclusive members-only gaming area with nearly two dozen gaming tables and a dining and bar area that is open to the public.
Overall, Wynn Mayfair offers 20 gaming tables that are distributed between a rooftop terrace, main gaming floor and six private salons.
Members of the club and public guests can enjoy a range of specialty cocktails, exceptional wines and popular dishes at the dining area.
Wynn Mayfair is a unique club considering that it successfully combines contemporary and classical artworks, along with a collection of antiques and plush furnishings.
One of the gems of the private members' gaming club is its rooftop terrace.
The latest finalization of the acquisition of Wynn Mayfair follows the exit of Wynn Resorts from the race for a New York downtown casino license.
In mid-May, the company announced its decision to withdraw from the race, confirming it intends to focus on other projects and strategic priorities.
Securing a prominent spot in London comes at a time when Wynn Resorts is also planning to open its new Middle East casino resort, Wynn Al Marjan Island, in the UAE.
So far, the company aims to open the new resort at some point early in 2027.
