The world's largest lottery games company, Scientific Games, continues to invest in its digital lottery business expansion thanks to two new senior-level appointments.
On Monday, the company confirmed it hired Laura Higgins and Keshav Pitani, two executives with extensive experience and significant knowledge.
The move, which seeks to strengthen Scientific Games' Digital Lottery Business, sees Higgins assume the role of Vice President, Customer Success & Strategy for the company's global digital team, while Pitani joins as Senior Vice President, Digital Games.
The two seasoned executives reaffirm the company's plan to continue growing and investing in the digital vertical.
Undoubtedly, Higgins and Pitani bring deep understanding of the sector, making them an excellent addition to Scientific Games' growing C-suite.
Throughout her extensive career, Higgins helped identify new growth opportunities in the digital, ecommerce and product goods sectors, paving the way for the expansion of different businesses.
Notably, she held a senior-level role as a Brand Director at Procter & Gamble, as well as General Manager of Category Expansion at Shutterfly, among other important C-suite roles.
Overall, Higgins brings more than two decades of experience in strategy, product, marketing, finance and management.
On the other hand, Pitani is expected to play a key role by overseeing Scientific Games' digital games and SG Content Hub strategy.
Leveraging his extensive experience, he is going to be instrumental in the future growth, expansion and innovation of the company's digital lottery business.
As a proven leader with a track record, Pitani previously played an important role in Scientific Games' launch of Light & Wonder in 2022.
In addition, his abilities have proven instrumental in Scientific Games' expansion into the video lottery verticals in the United States and Canada.
Under Pitani's guidance, the company has also launched a range of retail and digital products, delivering engaging and seamless experiences.
Matt Lynch, Scientific Games' President, Digital, shared his excitement about the latest senior-level appointments, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

Late last month, Scientific Games became the latest company to obtain a supplier license in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The license was awarded by the UAE's General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, the gambling regulator in the country, and marked an important part of Scientific Games' expansion plan in the region.
