One Illinois Lottery player has won north of $1.4m in the iLottery’s newest FastPlay game, Cash Castle. The lucky soul scooped up an eye-watering $1,432,831 payday, the lottery revealed late last week.
Cash Castle is one of the latest additions to the Illinois Lottery’s lineup of increasingly-popular FastPlay games, which have enjoyed a strong uptake with players. Specifically, Cash Castle launched on February 27, 2025, and has already produced a big-time winner.
The game itself is a $30 progressive title which sits under the FastPlay category and offers players a minimum jackpot of $100,000. However, there is virtually no limit on the top prize, which is nevertheless won at least once per month given the current statistic about the game.
Before the anonymous player won the $1.4m jackpot, another person scooped a $462,883 payout. Fast Play games have been quite popular, as they have habitually produced big winners, stirring more interest in the vertical.
A couple in Illinois won $2.66m in January, playing the Ultimate Diamond Jackpot game through the lottery app.
At the time when the couple won, January 11, 2025, lottery officials confirmed with CBS News that the lottery had sold 292,000 winning tickets into the new year by that point, fetching $5.3m in prize money to hundreds of thousands of players.
