Another lucky soul has scooped up a massive payday in Illinois, after an anonymous player, dubbed "Traveling Treasure", won $3,188,104 playing one of the lottery’s most popular games.

The player turned the seven-figure win on FastPlay Ultimate Diamond Jackpot, the second big win from the game in the past several days, reported by the Illinois Lottery. The person did pose for a photo-op with the outsized check covering most of his body, including his head and face.

On reflection, the newly minted millionaire first spoke highly of his time in Illinois, and had this to say:

"I’ve been to Chicago before but never had the chance to explore the tourist spots, so on this trip I made sure to see as much as I could. I visited the Skydeck at Willis Tower, checked out some filming locations from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and of course, I couldn’t leave without seeing The Bean."

Getting to the good part, the person said that they were heading back to their hotel one evening and dropped by a convenience store – the Komal Wine and Liquor which received $31,000 premium on selling the winning ticket – where the Ultimate Diamond Jackpot game caught their eye with its high prize pool.

Needless to say, the would-be winner then bought the ticket, shortly after finding out that they had won more than $3m!
