The most common issue is that you must check each casino's rules to see if self-exclusion at one casino applies to the whole group, even if the casinos are owned by the same entity. Usually it does not. The next time you face this situation, please inquire about it in the casino chat and always capture a screenshot of the answer. Only if the rules state that being excluded in one casino implies being excluded within the group will you be excluded from the entire group.
Also, it's best to ask for a casino list, as you can't know where you're restricted without one.

Or perhaps did the second casino let you play and then find out that your account had been self-excluded in the other casino in the group and then used that as a reason for closing the other account too?
