Jackpocket, the lottery vendor that has taken the United States by storm, had another milestone to celebrate late last week, with the platform announcing that it had sold the winning ticket for the Mega Million’s first jackpot winner for the year.
The sum, the quite substantial $112m, was won by a player who had purchased their ticket through the lottery courier app. Jackpocket carries out physical purchases. Jackpocket has had the opportunity to help crown the very first winner of the year, with the winning numbers drawn on Friday night, and as following: 8, 10, 37, 54, and 69. The Mega Ball was 22.

Jackpocket has been one of the foremost lottery courier apps in the United States. The company has started slowly, but it quickly built a ratchet effect, with its tickets sold all over the country. Once Jackpocket enters a state, the company takes pride in the fact that it will service and deliver the physical tickets quickly to even the remotest areas.
The platform has also habitually expanded in the country, with launches in New Jersey and Nebraska, and has helped numerous people win seven-figure sums from the lottery repeatedly.

Arizona Lottery Executive Director Alec Thomson has welcomed the opportunity to see the Mega Millions jackpot of the year won by a state resident. He also argued that the money that the lottery was raising was helping fund various vital programs and services benefiting communities all across the state.
