A farmer in Victoria, Australia, felt like he was dreaming and had tears in his eyes after winning a life-changing million-dollar prize.

The lucky man, whose identity wasn't publicly confirmed, won AU$1.6m from last weekend's TattsLotto draw, The Lott announced Monday.

TattsLotto drawing 4587 produces four division one winners

The incredibly fortunate winner purchased his ticket via The Lott's official application.

He selected a 50-game QuickPick entry that turned out as one of a total of four division one winning entries from drawing 4587 on July 5, 2025.

The winning numbers from the aforementioned drawing were 13, 6, 14, 19, 4 and 17, while supplementary numbers were 11 and 1.

As noted, there were a total of four winning entries across the country from TattsLotto's 4587 draw.

Two division one winning entries were purchased in Victoria, while there was also a single entry from Western Australia and Queensland.

Each division one winning entry won the life-changing sum of AU$1,691,612.55.

Scoring the prize was overwhelming and the winner wondered if he was dreaming

When contacted by The Lott, the lucky winner admitted to being a seasoned lottery player.

While the farmer said that he has been playing the lottery for decades, he admitted that he usually wins prizes that are in the realm of tens of dollars.

"I wasn't expecting this at all. Thank you so much. This is just freakish," the man said.

The man admitted that while he isn't emotional, the news about the life-changing win brought tears to his eyes.

"This is unbelievable. Am I awake right now? I feel like I'm dreaming," the lucky winner added.

Moreover, the fortunate player said: "You're a godsend. I have a farm and it's tough. You have no idea how much this is going to help."

The fortunate winner did not reveal if he had any plans regarding the unexpected windfall.

Regardless, his newfound AU$1.6m fortune is undoubtedly going to change his life forever.
