A woman, who won a life-changing scratch-off prize in Maryland, initially thought she was dreaming.

Then, after checking her ticket once again, it finally hit her that she really won $100,000.

Lottery player who favors Bingo scratch-offs wins $100K

As announced by the Maryland Lottery, a woman from Baltimore County decided to give a popular scratch-off ticket a try and won the hefty prize.

The woman, whose identity wasn't publicly confirmed, admitted that she likes scratch-off games.

"Bingo scratch-offs are my absolute favorite," the winner told a representative of the Maryland Lottery.

The lucky woman, who works as a nurse, purchased a Bingo X10 ticket at Pop's Grocery & Deli located at 7459 East Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie.

She visited the aforementioned venue late last month and the minute she walked in, she thought of purchasing an instant ticket and hoped that Bingo-style tickets were available.

Once she purchased the ticket, the woman went back home, and this is when she scratched it off.

"I saw the design my matches made and looked at the rules. It was a $100,000 win, which I knew couldn’t be right," the winner said.

In disbelief, the woman decided to visit a lottery retailer to check the scratch-off ticket again.

Recalling the moment the retailer checked her ticket, the woman said: "Her eyes opened so wide. That’s when the dream feeling started."

After realizing that she had indeed won $100,000 from the Bingo X10 scratch-off game, the woman recently visited the Maryland Lottery to claim the big win.

She admitted that the prize came as a blessing for her and her family.

After selling the winning ticket, Pop's Grocery & Deli will benefit from a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery.

Two top prizes are up for grabs from Bingo X10

Each Bingo X10 ticket costs $10 per play and grants players a chance to win a prize between $10 and $100,000.

While at the launch of the ticket, there were a total of six top prizes, after the latest $100,000 win, now, two remain in play.

A tier-two prize from the $10 scratch-off game awards $10,000 and out of 20 such prizes, four are up for grabs.

On the other hand, a tier-three prize awards $1,000 and there is a total of nine such prizes in play.

Within the lower prize tiers between $500 and $10, there are many more prizes.

The odds of winning any prize from the Bingo X10 scratch-off are 1 in 3.24.
