The Idaho Lottery is looking for several fortunate winners who are yet to claim their prizes from its winter $1,000,000 Raffle.
Besides one $1m prize, three ticket holders with prizes of $1,000 each are yet to claim their wins and the time to do that is quickly running out.
In Idaho, lottery players have 180 days from the date of a draw or the official end of a game to claim their winnings with valid tickets.
If they fail to do so, all prizes that go unclaimed benefit Idaho public schools and the Department of Administration's Permanent Building Fund, which helps university campuses and colleges.
Every year, approximately $5m in winning lottery tickets go unclaimed in Idaho.
The holder of a winning $1m ticket with number 063647 from the Idaho Lottery's $1,000,000 Raffle will have until 5 PM local time on Monday, June 30, 2025, to claim their prize.
The aforementioned ticket was purchased at one of the Idaho Lottery's retail venues in Star.
In addition, three tickets with $1,000 prizes each and numbers 061340, 083502 and 140188, sold in Rathdrum, Nampa and Middleton respectively, are yet to be claimed.
The three winning tickets were produced from daily drawings at the start of the $1,000,000 Raffle.
If the $1m Raffle ticket goes unclaimed, it would become the third prize of such size to go with the wind in the history of the Idaho Lottery.
Only two other times, prizes of $1m have gone unclaimed in Idaho.
Most recently, in June 2012, a $1m winning Powerball ticket that was sold at a Maverik Store in Meridian, wasn't collected in the timeframe and has gone unclaimed.
Before that, in 2010, another $1m winning Powerball ticket, this one, purchased in Irwin, was also left unclaimed and helped fund the Idaho Lottery's beneficiaries.
As time is quickly running out and the deadline is getting close, several Idaho players need to double-check their tickets and see if they would be pleasantly surprised.
