A lucky grandmother will be helping her grandchildren after scoring a six-figure lottery prize in Australia.

The fortunate St Marys resident holds one out of nearly a dozen division one winning entries for Saturday Lotto's draw 4579, The Lott announced Monday.

Each of the ten division one winning entries from the draw on Saturday won AU$627,568.96.

The winner cried tears of joy

The winning numbers from Saturday Lotto's recent draw were 30, 26, 11, 22, 36 and 13, while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 45.

When the fortunate winner was contacted and notified about their win by The Lott, the woman admitted that it felt overwhelming.

"I saw your calls and messages, and I woke my partner up in a frenzy. I yelled, 'The Lott is calling me'," the woman explained.

The fortunate winner thanked the lottery and said that it feels amazing to score such a life-changing prize.

Admitting that she still doesn't believe her luck, the St Mary resident added: "That’s awesome. I can’t stop crying."

As it turns out, to win the life-changing prize, the grandmother used the birthday numbers of all of her children.

The generous winner added: "I’ll be able to help the kids. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."

Speaking about her granddaughter, the fortunate woman said that she will be able to help her buy a new car.

"She’s got a lemon at the moment, and she’s had so much trouble with it," the winner explained.

Saturday Lotto's recent draw produced a total of 10 division one winners

The lucky woman purchased the winning Saturday Lotto division one entry from St Marys Newsagency, 118 Queen Street in St Marys.

As noted, draw 4579 recorded a total of ten division one winning entries on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Besides the St Mary's winner, there are two other division one winning entries in New South Wales, as well as four in Victoria and one each in Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania.

Saturday Lotto is undoubtedly one of the most popular lottery games in Australia.

Last year alone, the game helped make 149 millionaires across the country.
