A player at the BetMGM Casino platform in Ontario couldn’t believe their luck – not once, but twice!

The lucky soul who is based in Ontario, Canada, has struck gold on two separate occasions playing the MGM Grand Millions game, a BetMGM exclusive slot developed specifically for the iGaming platform.

More than CAD$2m won off progressive jackpots by one lucky soul

The person first won the CAD$1.6m prize to get things started playing the exclusive slot title and betting CAD$20 on a spin.

His good fortune was about to get even better, though, as the same player then won CAD417,377 only six days later, winning the progressive jackpot twice in the space of a week and playing MGM Grand Millions!

Not only is this the largest single progressive jackpot awarded at an online casino in Ontario, but it is also the first time a single person has won that much money from two individual jackpots over the same period!

The jackpot, though, did not happen quite as recently as you might expect. Even though the company publicized the win this week, the actual winning took place much earlier, in April. The first jackpot dropped on April 21, 2025, and the second one dropped on April 26, 2025.

At the same time, BetMGM Ontario has been pushing forward with what it has to offer players, introducing the Jackpot Blitz system earlier in May to incentivize players to try their hand at winning jackpots of their own.
